The Plan

Morning

You'll be picked up in a luxury minivan from close to North Greenwich Underground Station, an ideal starting point for avoiding the worst of London’s infamous traffic, before heading south to Sussex where the wine awaits. Your dive into the world of English wine begins with a vineyard tour and tutored tasting at either Gusbourne Estate or Woodchurch Wines, where you get the chance to sample an array of their award-winning wines.

Afternoon

Next up is a delicious gourmet lunch bursting with local flavours. Alfresco if the weather gods are kind! From here you'll head to Rye, famous former port and smuggling harbour now rather surreally located several miles from the coast. You'll wander the beautiful cobbled streets and learn about the town’s intriguing history. Then you'll head to the second winery, either Tillingham Wines or Oxney Organic Estate, for a tutored tasting of still and sparkling wines in their state-of-the-art tasting room, before heading back to London.
